With the war and crisis in Ukraine showing no sign of abating, rowing organizations around the world have begun to fundraise to help the Ukrainian population, including the UKR rowing community.

British Rowing has a comprehensive page that includes both rowing and non-rowing ways to help.
The German Rowing Federation and clubs in Hannover and other cities are assisting Ukrainian Juniors and U23 rowers with housing in Germany; support for those efforts can be made via international bank transfers here.
There are also rowing community individuals inside the UKR who are not affiliated with the NGB, and helping them is very difficult; we inquired with FISA about ways to reach and assist those folks, but got no response, so before you set up a GoFundMe for individuals, be very careful about potential implications, as there are considerable hurdles to getting funds to individuals from outside Ukraine at present. In our own investigation into doing so, we discovered real potential perils for individuals receiving international funds, include possible freezing of bank accounts and the threat of arrest.
If you are aware of any ongoing broad-based fundraisers with the aim of aiding the Ukrainian rowing community, please get in touch with us here. Many folks might be doing ergathons and similar personal and local efforts, but we are unable to post every fundraiser simply due to fairly limited resources here at row2k.
